Report North Bay is thrilled to announce Johanne Brousseau has joined the team here at Report.

Johanne has 22 years in business as a business owner in our city and is a great advocate of promoting and supporting local business in North Bay.

Johanne’s Column "Let's Talk" will be focused on stories about our local businesses here in our City. Johanne started North Bay Proud- Shop Local during the pandemic to assist local businesses during the pandemic. Johanne is well known respected individual and has served in many roles in our community, both private and public.

Bio

Johanne recently completed a 4-year term as a councilor for the city of North Bay where she served as Chair of Community Services. She sat on many boards and committees and thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the Business Expansion and Retention Red flag committee and the Growth Community Improvement Plan review committee. Johanne remains actively involved in our community and enjoys giving time to many different organizations. Currently she is the Chair of the City of North Bay Property Standard Committee and of the North Bay Waste Resources Liaison Committee. Johanne also sits on the Société Alzheimer Society Sudbury-Manitoulin North Bay and District Board and is also Chair of the French Languages Services committee. With 22 years' experience as a business owner, she is happy to dive into the writing pool and introduce you to local businesses.

Johanne a récemment terminé un mandat de quatre ans en tant que conseillère municipale de la ville de North Bay, où elle a occupé le poste de présidente des services communautaires. Elle a siégé à de nombreux conseils et comités et a beaucoup apprécié d'être membre du comité pour l'expansion et la rétention des entreprises et du comité de plan communautaire d'amélioration et de croissance.Johanne reste activement impliquée dans notre communauté et aime donner de son temps à de nombreuses organisations. Elle est présidente du « City of North Bay Property Standard Committee » et du « North Bay Waste Resources Liaison Committee ». Johanne siège également au conseil d'administration de la Société Alzheimer Society Sudbury-Manitoulin North Bay & District et préside le comité des services francophones.Avec 22 ans d'expérience en tant que propriétaire d'entreprise, elle est heureuse de se plonger dans la rédaction et de vous présenter les entreprises locales.
