Weldon, Shirley
Passed away peacefully at the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa on Sunday June 30th, 2024.
Beloved mother of Tammy (deceased), John (deceased) and Debbie Heflin. Grandmother of Joel, Patrick (Shawna Clifford), James, Andrew, Brianne, Tyler, Gregory (deceased) and John Jr. (deceased) and great grandmother of 19 great grandchildren.
Shirley worked in the service industry most of her life. She was a hard worker and always was there for her family and friends. Her baking skills were enjoyed by many friends and neighbors and Shirley always enjoyed it when someone complimented her baking or cooking. Shirley enjoyed being part of the Social Club at Castlearms 2. She missed her many friends and especially her good friends Betty and Bruce. They were always back and forth sharing meals and visits. Shirley had many friends who helped her as she needed it. “
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Special thanks to the staff at the Algonquin Nursing Home for the exceptional care given to Shirley during her stay.
