White Woods welcoming back staff and students on Tuesday

By Richard Coffin

White Woods Public School students in Sturgeon Falls will be back at Northern Secondary for one day, before returning to the White Woods building on Tuesday.

In a letter to parents, officials say staff will be packing and preparing for the transition, adding they’re looking forward to settling back into the school and re-establishing familiar routines.

They say a number of board central staff have been assigned to assist with the move so that it can be done as efficiently and seamlessly as possible

Transportation and busing will continue as usual.

Students were relocated to Northern after a fire in a classroom at White Woods in early December.
