Winter Coat Drive

Several local groups are working together to ensure children and families have warm coats for winter.  

They’re accepting gently used and new winter coats, mitts, hats and boots. You can drop off your donations: 

• Low Income People Involvement of Nipissing (LIPI) at 127 Main St East (9 am to 2 pm) until Friday, Nov. 1  
• Rebuilt Resources, 1356 Regina St (10 am to 3 pm) until through Saturday, Nov. 2. 

Distribution of the coats will take place Nov. 6 (10 am to 4 pm) & Nov. 7 (8:30 am to 3 pm) at St. Andrew’s United Church, 399 Cassells Street.  

Officials say each family member must be present to collect their winter coat and only one coat per person will be provided. 

They add hats, mitts and winter boots will be provided while supplies last. 

The AIDS Committee of North Bay & Area is also involved in the initiative.
