Winter-themed youth art contest supporting palliative care
It’s still summer, but the Near North Palliative Care Network has an eye to winter with an art contest they’re holding.oung artists ages 7-18 are being invited to take 9’’ by 12’’ winter-themed pieces will become part of their Winter Wishes Collection, with selected artwork professionally reproduced as prints and featured in a postcard set.
The creative community project is supporting free hospice palliative care, grief support, and connection programs for local individuals and families.
Artists can use acrylic paint, collage, pencil crayons, crayons, watercolour, or a combination of mediums.
