Young, Valerie

Passed away peacefully at her residence after a lifelong struggle. Valerie was the recipient of a heart transplant, which gave her many additional years at life.

Loving mother of Peter (Zoey Cook). Beloved sister of Cheryl (Ernest), Chris (Karrie), Shawn (Jennifer), Steve, James and Bryan. Predeceased by her parents Kathleen and Clarence Cooper and her brother Cory. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre-Cardiac Care Unit will be greatly appreciated.
