Youth Bowlers advance to Provincials

The hunt for nationals continues for 20 area youth bowlers.
45 bowlers, ages 6-19, represented North Bay’s Partners Bowling at zone events around the region on Sunday.
Various teams won seven gold, four silver and four bronze medals.
Bantam, junior and senior gold and silver winners advance to the Northern Ontario Provincials on March 1 in Dryden.
Gold medal winners:
– Bantam Girls: Mya Labonte, Marley Pedskalny, Coach Remi Levasseur
– Bantam Boys: Easton Doxsee, Winston Keir, Coach Brynne Doxsee
– Junior Girls: Autumn Giroux, Heather Parry, Coach Ginette MacLean
– Junior Boys: Alex Leblond, Clark Boivin, Coach Marc Lecuyer
– Senior Girls: Sadie Tremblay, Leah Spurvey, Coach Marc Lafleur
– Senior Boys: Austin Sands, Lincan Mantha, Coach Kevin Mantha
– Combo Mixed: Grace Hummel, Savannah Aultman, Olivia Spurvey, Coach Alyson Aultman
Silver medal winners:
– Bantam Girls: Kyleigh Parry, Riley Labrecque, Coach Remi Levasseur
– Bantam Boys: Roddy Pedskalny, Landon Berard-Fawcett, Coach Michael MacLean
– Junior Girls: Gabrielle Boivin, Sophie Evans, Coach Libby Robillard
– Senior Girls: Abby Ouellette-Hurtubise, Morgan McKay, Coach Marc Lafleur

The Combo team medalists will have their zone scores submitted as part of a virtual provincial result.
